Star Date -315050.50577118207 Final Blog entry. We have come here to Apple Valley to find the Over The Bulge Gang. Unfortunately scanners were unable to detect them. Their fat shields were obliterated and what remained were two humanoid life forms, Leo and Sharie.
After seven months of hard work I lost 107 lbs. I didn't think that I had that much weight to lose. But once you get going a little here a little there. When I was younger and in the Army I weighed 193 lbs. When I married Sharie I weighed 195. So to weigh in at 176 lbs was unbelievable for me. Again I have so many people to thank. First and foremost my wife for signing us up and whose love and support sustained me through till the end. We were extremely fortunate to be chosen for this life changing event. Secondly all the sponsors, and our special friends Dr. Krieder, Melanie, Susan. I would like to thank all the contestants who helped us laugh and enjoy this competition. Special congratulations to Dave and Candy for winning the car. What Dave did was truly astounding losing 200 lbs!! I would also like to especially that the people of the High Desert who followed the contest and rooted for us and cheered us on and complimented us when they came across us working out. Words are inadequate to express the thanks and gratitude for all your support and what it meant to us. Now it is over and there is only one thing left to do.
